Astrology has been around for thousands of years and has been use for relationships, health, intimacy and wealth. Indian astrology and western astrology have quite a bit in common. In Indian astrology the sign Singha which is western astrology for lion coincides with the western sign Leo. The symbol of a girl is used to represent the sign of Virgo. In Indian astrology the twin of Virgo is Kanya which is young girl. The Hindu study of astrology is based on Bandhu of the Vedas which are scriptures which represent macronism and micronisim. Hindu astrology includes several relayed sub-systems of interpretation and prediction with elements not found in Hellenistic astrology, such as the systems of lunar mansions.

CHINESE ASTROLOGY

Chinese astrology started being used in 1046 to 256 B.C. in the Zhou dynasty and metastasized during the Han Dynasty. The Han Dynasty was from 100 BC to 100 AD. During the Han period the familiar elements of traditional Chinese culture in the Yin-Yang philosophy. The theory of the 5 elements, Heaven and Earth, Confucian morality – were brought together to formalize the philosophical principles of Chinese medicine and divination, astrology and alchemy. The 5 classical planets are associated with the Wu Xing Venus represents metal which is the white tiger. Jupiter is associated with wood which is symbolized by Blue Dragon. Mercury is symbolized by Water which is the Black Tortoise. Mars is represented by fire which is the Vermilion Bird….( not the phoenix). Saturn is Earth which is the Yellow Dragon.

INDIAN ASTROLOGY

Indian Astrology is an ancient science based upon the knowledge gained by ancient Indian studies. It had evolved long before the Western astronomers and astrologers were born. It has its roots steeped into the Vedas which date back to 1500 BC. No science or study of way of life and or “religion” is as instructive as Indian astrology. Indian Astrology is based upon the foretelling the future of individuals, nations or other events relying on the planetary movements.

HINDU/VEDIC ASTROLOGY

The term Hindu astrology had been in use as the English equivalent of Juoita since 1806. Vedic Astrology was a new term at the turn of the nineteenth century. The new term was used quite a bit in the nineteen eighties when a massive demand of literature was being processed on this topic. 1980 was marked as the self help era for bok on Balancing the spirit and yoga. In history and throughout Tim Juoita wasn’t mentioned in the Vedic astrology for reasons unknown.
