  1. Be sure to book your hotel in advance. Indeed, Las Vegas hotels get booked quite quickly, which means that you have to reserve a room multiple months in advance. Usually, the best hotels fill up the fastest, so if you have a certain hotel in mind, you want to book four to six months in advance for the best rate. During the off-season, or when there isn’t a major convention in town, it can be easier to get a room.
  2. Be sure to keep your valuables safe. There are a lot of people walking out in the streets – if you don’t keep your wallet or purse secure, you may lose something. Worse still, you may get something stolen. Ideally, you want to keep your purse at the hotel and only bring the essentials.   3. Be sure to follow the rules – it may not seem like it, but Sin City has a lot of rules. If you don’t follow them, you could get ticketed or you could spend a night in a holding cell. It is not likely, but if you are visiting for a bachelor or bachelorette party bash, you could go overboard and get too rowdy. Also, you want to be sure to be polite – it can be easy to get a little too loose with the manners when you are in Sin City.

For instance, you want to have a budget for how much you are willing to spend on gambling.
