Mazda MX-5 Miata

When Mazda began to conquer the markets of the USA and Europe in the 80s, it needed to develop such a car in order to impress the drivers at first sight. That was Miata. Even in its first modification, the model pleased with a carefully thought-out, classic design, and at the same time with a low weight of 940 kg and an affordable cost.

Now the roadster has already received the fourth generation – it has become even more compact in size and absolutely radically lost weight, having thrown off more than 100 kg. In addition, the engineers took care of the safety, increasing the rigidity of the structure.

However, the ‘diet’ hasn’t touched the interior, which shines with the new MazdaConnect multimedia system, audio speakers integrated into the headrests, a windproof screen, and useful pockets for small things.

As for power units, the manufacturer offers two gasoline units designed specifically for the roadster: a 1.5-liter 131-hps and a 2-liter 157-hps engine, working with a 6-speed manual transmission.

Honda S2000

A beautiful, athletic roadster was a gift to Honda for its own 50th anniversary. The appearance is the subject of pride in this model: excellent quality optics, similar to flower petals, streamlined hood without distracting relief, an impressive bumper with a massive radiator grille and side ribs, as well as beautiful spoiler make the car really incredible. Roadster offered with an extensive selection of gasoline power units:

  • 2-liter 240-hps engine, accelerating the car to 100 km/h in 6.2 seconds and having a top speed of 240 km/h;
  • 2-liter 237-hps engine, accelerating the car to 100 km/h in 5.7 seconds, with a speed limit of 241 km/h.

All motors were aggregated with a 6-speed manual transmission. Rear-wheel drive system, stylish interior, and outstanding handling together provide the driver with absolute pleasure.

Porsche Boxter

The distinguished roadster stands out from the entire extensive Porsche family at a very affordable price with more than impressive characteristics. The slightly chopped, but bright and frivolous exterior is distinguished by a massive bumper with compact dimensions, spectacular optics, moderately inflated wheel arches, open top and excellent dynamics.

In the heart of the roadster are environmentally friendly and powerful motors. Both the 2.7-liter and 3.4-liter engines have 4-valve cylinders and a special VarioCam gas distribution system, which reduces harmful emissions to zero.

The last modification has undergone major changes in terms of comfort and ergonomics of the cabin – it was covered with genuine leather, the decoration was made of aluminum and wood, and the dashboard is decorated with elements of different color palettes.

BMW Z4 Roadster

The Bavarian car has been produced since 2002. Thanks to cooperation with Toyota, it has gained an even more impressive design in its third generation. Due to its aggressive look, a ribbed hood, excellent aerodynamics and a daring character the roadster can be fully compared with a shark.

Unlike its predecessor, this roadster regained a soft, quick and easily folding roof, and the trunk was expanded to 281 liters. The car increased its dimensions, while maintaining a small weight, and received a turbocharged 2-liter 258-hps engine under the hood.

The flagship version boasts a 3-liter turbocharged V6 with 340 hps, which accelerate the car to 100 km/h in 4.5 seconds. All power units are complemented by an 8-speed automatic transmission. Even in the basic version, the roadster has adaptive steering, LED headlights, electronic assistants, including lane keeping control and automatic braking system.

Audi TT RS Roadster

This is a real city car that over the years receives only more gloss and power. In addition to the spectacular appearance, comfort, and good handling, the roadster can seriously compete with sports models in dynamics.

The body, made on 2/3 of aluminum and 1/3 of steel, has become lightweight, durable and safe. In addition, Audi Space Frame technology was used in the construction of front part of the car. It protects the vehicle against catastrophic damage in the event of a frontal impact.

At the heart of the model there’s a powerful 340-hps V6 engine with an automatic direct injection system that allows you to reach 100 km/h in 4.7 seconds. It works in tandem with a mechanical 6-speed transmission, and this combination accelerates the one and a half-ton car to 280 km/h.
