Men’s Must-Have Autumn Trends

Autumn has officially arrived, so it’s time to leave your summer wardrobe behind and delve into the wonderful trends of this season. Some say that autumn is the time of year where you can really start showing off your individual style, and that’s certainly true for menswear. Take a look at these men’s must-have autumn trends:

  1. Animal Print

Animal print comes in and out of fashion practically every few years. This season it’s all about leopard, tiger and snakeprint. Depending on how daring you are, you can wear this style head-to-toe or keep it subtle by pairing a statement piece with the rest of the outfit. Leopard print coats were particularly prevalent in many designer’s collections such as Gucci and Calvin Klein.

  1. Leather

Leather is a look that really never goes out of style. This autumn it’s all about playing around with the fit and colours. Oversized, super long coats seem to be the hottest choice. Brands like Fendi and Dunhill are pioneering the “matrix” leather look. You don’t have to keep it limited to just the jacket, go brave with an all leather outfit including leather top and leather trousers.

  1. Layer Upon Layer

Layering up in autumn is a must for coordinating your style, which is handy because the weather takes a cold turn. Layered coats are particularly popular this season, but you can always start from the bottom up by layering t-shirts, shirts and jackets.

  1. Streetwear

Streetwear has had a complete re-boot into the high-fashion world recently, so it makes sense that they’re forming part of designer’s autumn collections. A mens full tracksuit, t-shirt and jacket are the base of this trend. Huge brands like Off-White and Balenciaga are setting the new streetwear dress codes this year.

  1. Autumnal Colour

Seeing as it’s autumn, it would be a shame not to embrace the wonderful autumnal colours. Make the most of this time of year by filling your wardrobe with colourful pieces, such as: maroon, deep red, navy and khaki green. You can wear these colours in every garment in the outfit, or keep it cool by pairing them with neutral colours to make them pop.
