Hyundai India without mincing any word is going to introduce two new automatic variants in its Verna soon. Petrol At unlike before it’s now going to be offered in SX+ variant while Hyundai Verna will get Diesel AT in SX (O) trim. Though the prices of these added features have not yet been announced, we expect Petrol AT for SX+ trim to cost Rs. 11.30 Lakhs while on the other hand Diesel SX (O) will go at Rs. 14.35 Lakhs.
What are the features of SX+ petrol AT?
The 1.6-liter petrol SX+ AT has additional equipment such as wireless charging, smart key with engine start/stop button, and smart trunk. It also gets a 1.6-litre 4 cylinder VTVT petrol unit that is good for 121 BHP @ 6,400 RPM and 151 NM @ 4,850 NM. This engine is paired with a six-speed automatic transmission. The mileage of 1.6-liter petrol AT unit is 17.3 kmpl. Also, we have another petrol unit which is smaller that’s 1.4-liter 4-cylinder petrol motor which makes 99 BHP @ 6,000 RPM and 132 NM @ 4,000 RPM. This variant comes only in EX and E trims, and it’s mated to a 6-speed manual gearbox. Its fuel economy is 17.4 kmpl.
Features of SX (O) Diesel AT
The model has got additional features such as wireless mobile charging pad, telescopic steering adjustment, sunroof, leather upholstery, all-black interiors, and blue stitching leather upholstery. Its safety features are six airbags, reverse parking camera with sensors, and ABS with EBD. Other premium features are projector lamps with LED DRLs, 16-inch stylish diamond cut alloys, cornering lamps, Leather-wrapped steering wheel and gear knob, 7-inch touchscreen infotainment system with connectivity options such as apple carplay, android auto, and mirror link. This 1.6-litre diesel SX (O) AT is good for torque of 260 NM @ 1,500 – 3,000 RPM and 126 BHP @ 4,000 RPM. The unit is mated to a six-speed automatic gearbox, and fuel efficiency is 24.35 kmpl.
