Whilst many homeowners are eager to purchase Husqvarna ride on mowers because of the quality and longevity that the brand embodies, it is likely that you will have many questions that should be answered first. Fortunately, we have compiled a list of some of the most frequently asked questions about these mowers that should help you in making a decision.
- What is covered under the manufacturer’s warranty?
Our warranty covers any faulty workmanship in the manufacture of the mower, as well as any defective components that are discovered. The warranty coverage period is generally up to 2 years, but this can vary depending on the product you own and how it is used. - How do I register my mower’s warranty?
The good news is that the dealer you purchased the equipment from should do this for you. If you would prefer, however, you can also register itself by visiting the Husqvarna website. Make sure that you have all of the documentation on hand and follow the prompts. - Do I have to take the mower back to the dealer I purchased it from?
If your equipment requires warranty repairs you only need to take it back to an authorized servicing dealer, not necessarily the one you purchased it through. This is extremely handy if you have moved since the purchase or if a dealer has opened up closer to home. - Can a replacement part under warranty be sent to me?
Unfortunately, our policy is that all defective mowers are to be serviced by an authorized service centre and not by the owner. You will need to take the equipment into a local dealer and they will organise for the part to be sent out to them for replacement. - What is the Reverse Operating System (ROS)?
Our ride on mowers now feature something that is known as a reverse operating system (ROS), which allows the operator to mow whilst in reverse. This capability has to be consciously engaged by the operator and they must be aware of their surroundings. - How do I find the model and serial number of my mower?
Fortunately, the serial numbers of our equipment can be easily viewed on the exterior of the product. If you are having difficulty locating this number, however, your dealer should be able to help you out; simply take the equipment into their service center. - I’ve lost my receipt – can the warranty still apply?
Because your mower should have been registered in a warranty system, you will be able to find out whether the coverage still applies or whether it has expired. You will need to contact your local dealer or Husqvarna directly to find this out for sure.
If you still have a pressing question that we have been unable to answer in the list above, make sure that you contact your local dealer or Husqvarna through their website. There are no stupid questions when it comes to Husqvarna ride on mowers in our opinion; our team and dealers are ready and waiting to answer any questions you may have and to help in any way we can.
