This would be a big benefit to people who have an appointment so they would know which routes to take. If they see a certain route has heavy traffic then there is enough time to plan an alternate route. It is pretty obvious nobody wants to be stuck in traffic especially since sitting for hours would make you get a headache. Traffic is also one of the root causes of stress and bad mood so it is better to avoid traffic altogether.
